Privacy Policy for LinkedIn Job Filter

1. Data We Collect

• Website Content (Company Names):
  We read only the company names displayed on LinkedIn Jobs pages in order to let you block or unblock them. No other page content is collected.
• Blocked-Companies List:
  Your list of blocked companies is stored locally in your browser (via Chrome’s chrome.storage.sync or localStorage). It is never sent to any external server.

2. How We Use Data

• To hide job listings from companies you’ve chosen to block.
• To sync your blocked-companies list across your signed-in Chrome browsers (if you enable sync).

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your blocked-companies list or any other data with third parties.
No analytics or tracking: We do not collect usage metrics or personal identifiers.

4. User Control

• You can view, edit, or clear your blocked-companies list at any time using the in-page panel (Ctrl + Alt + B).
• You may disable sync by switching to local storage only (via your extension’s options).

5. Data Security

All data remains on your device or within Chrome’s sync system. We do not host or transmit any user data on remote servers.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our extension’s functionality. The “Effective Date” will be revised accordingly.
